JUSTIFICATION, THE CHRISTIAN LIFE, AND CHRISTIAN CHARACTER
SPEAKER
Our speaker this year is the Rev. Dr. David VanDrunen. He will be presenting two lectures titled, "The Sanctification of the Justified" and "The Virtues of the Justified."
Dr. VanDrunen is a minister of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church (OPC). He began teaching at Westminster Seminary California in 2001. He formerly served as a pastor of Grace OPC in Hanover Park, IL, and currently serves on the OPC’s Committee on Christian Education and Subcommittee on Ministerial Training. He does much of his current research and writing at the intersection of systematic theology, biblical studies, ethics, and legal and political theory.
He is the author or editor of twelve books, most recently Politics after Christendom: Political Theology in a Fractured World and Aquinas Among the Protestants. Dr. VanDrunen and his wife, Katherine have one son and reside in Escondido.
SCHEDULE
The first lecture of the seminar will begin at 2pm followed by a time of coffee and refreshments. The second lecture will begin at 3:15pm followed by a time of Q&A.
